Week 2 consisted of sourcing materials and gutting the room in preparation for the new wall treatment.
I cannot believe the first week of the Spring One Room Challenge is here! I had so much fun doing the Fall ORC, I could not wait to do another one.
I am so honored to have been a GUEST PARTICIPANT in the One Room Challenge this fall. I cannot believe the final week is here! This room is so much more than I thought it was going to be. We have a long way to go but I am super proud of what we have accomplished so far.
Week 6 was brick laying week!!!! It was the week I have been waiting for. Brick would have been week 2 if we had found enough brick and didn’t need the board and batten. But, alas, good things come to those who wait. And oh man, is it good.
Week 5 was ‘brick prep’ week. We spent the week making sure everything (except the quarter round) was done on the board and batten. We then prepped for the brick installation.
How is it Week 4 already? How are we halfway through this challenge? Well, the good news is we were able to make some substantial progress this past week.
Week 3 of the One Room Challenge was hard for me because it was ‘not part of the plan’. We were unhappy with the outcome of last week so we fixed it this week. It ultimately set us back a week but I have no doubt we can make up for it.
We are in week 2 of the one room challenge and we have made a lot of progress! After much debate, we decided to attempt to add a secondary wall treatment to the wall. The treatment we chose was Board and Batten.
I am so excited to announce I am going to be a GUEST PARTICIPANT in the One Room Challenge. After much debate, I have decided to tackle my Living Room. I have no idea how I am going to tie everything together but here we go…
We upgraded our living room in stages over a one year time frame. It was a slow transformation so for our family it didn’t have the ‘Wow’ factor that some of our other rooms did. But the before and after pictures really show us how much it changed.
